Privacy Policy
BibleFlow is a personal automation operated by a single person to publish short Bible verse videos to one set of social accounts owned by the operator. This policy explains what information BibleFlow handles, why, and how.
1. Information we do not collect
BibleFlow has no end-user accounts and no public sign-in. It does not collect, store, or process personal information from anyone other than the operator. There is no analytics tracking on this website, no third-party advertising, no cookies set by BibleFlow, and no contact forms.
2. Information BibleFlow does handle
To publish videos, BibleFlow uses Google OAuth credentials issued to the operator. Specifically:
- An OAuth access token and refresh token issued by Google for the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.uploadscope. - The operator's own YouTube channel identifier.
These tokens authorize uploads to the operator's own YouTube channel and nothing else. They do not grant access to any other Google account, to viewers' data, or to YouTube analytics.
3. How credentials are stored
OAuth tokens are stored on a server controlled by the operator, in a file readable only by the BibleFlow process. Tokens are not transmitted to any third party, are not copied to the public internet, and are not embedded in any released video.
4. Google API services and Google user data
BibleFlow's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- Google user data is used only to upload videos to the operator's own YouTube channel.
- Google user data is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide or improve user-facing features of BibleFlow.
- Google user data is not used or transferred for serving advertisements, including retargeted or personalized ads.
- No humans read the data unless required for security purposes, with the user's explicit consent, or to comply with applicable law.
5. Third parties
BibleFlow publishes finished videos to YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Each of those platforms has its own privacy policy that applies once a video is uploaded. BibleFlow itself does not share or sell any information to any third party.
6. Data retention
OAuth tokens are retained for as long as BibleFlow needs them to publish videos and are revoked or replaced when no longer needed. Rendered video files are kept on the operator's server for archival purposes.
7. Security
The server that runs BibleFlow is access-controlled. Credentials are stored with restrictive file permissions and are not committed to source control or shared.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Material changes will also be noted on the homepage.
9. Contact
